Getting to the hospital

If you live in the Tri-County area, and you are coming to Methodist for hospitalization or outpatient surgery and diagnostic tests, you can take advantage of our FREE courtesy van service.

  • Hours are from 6 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
  • You must live in Peoria, Tazewell or Woodford county.

This service is for patients of all ages and you must be able to walk.  One person may accompany you in the van.

The courtesy van service is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Getting home

Some wait time may be incurred for your return trip home.  Please make sure to reserve your return trip when you reserve your trip to the hospital.

  • The courtesy van does not service the emergency department.
  • When canceling, a 24-hour notice must be given.
