As a not-for-profit healthcare provider, Methodist Medical Center relies on the generosity of the community to help us continue to provide the outstanding quality of care you have come to know and expect.  The generosity of the community includes financial support through our foundation, as well as volunteer efforts at our hospital.

Volunteering

As a Methodist volunteer, you brighten the lives of our patients and visitors. Our volunteers - from as young as 14 to the young-at-heart - escort patients, deliver mail, rock babies in the Wonder Center , and assist in offices. Volunteering may help boost energy levels and self-esteem while reducing stress-related health problems.  Why not use your time and talents to serve others in the community?

Why do we need your help?

As we all know, healthcare costs are rising.  What you may not know is that government and insurers are reducing reimbursements to hospitals and doctors. This leaves many with not enough funding to provide new services, purchase new technology, and introduce new programs.

• Methodist Medical Center is a not-for-profit hospital. We serve everyone seeking emergency care, regardless of ability to pay.
• We receive no tax support.
• Our revenues are affected by reduced insurance payments, and rising labor costs.
• Philanthropy is the key to Methodist Medical Center's success…without it we cannot meet the healthcare needs of our community.
