New Student Orientation
Methodist College of Nursing has a New Student Orientation program that all incoming students are required to attend. Orientation was developed to help integrate our new students into the social and academic setting of the institution. The orientation was designed with the following goals:
- Reduce the anxiety of incoming students
- Allow new students to meet each other and develop relationships
- Introduce current students and faculty who can share their own experiences as a source of support and information
- Provide information and assistance to new students enhancing their ability to succeed at Methodist College of Nursing
- Introduce incoming students to important academic and non-academic regulations at Methodist College of Nursing
The program is mandatory, and is three full days in length. Specific schedules will be made available to incoming students as soon as possible. Below are the New Student Orientation dates that are currently scheduled.
January 14 - 16, 2009 (Wednesday through Friday) for Spring 2009 Admits
